Face Up 21
The big mystery in every blackjack hand is knowing which card the dealer is holding. Face Up 21 shows you both of the dealer's cards, but in exchange for this knowledge, some other factors come into play. This creates a particularly exciting and action-oriented style of play!
See What the Dealer Normally Hides
The key to this entire game comes down to being able to see the dealer's card. Essentially, you get to see both cards from the dealer just like you get to see your own. As a result, you can get a better idea of what you need to do to maximize your chances of an advantage at all times. However, some complications are thrown into the mix to balance things out.
For one, players won't be able to take an insurance bet if one of the dealer's cards is an ace or ten. That's because there's no reason to peek for blackjack if you can already see both of the dealer's cards. Doubling is only allowed if your total is a 9, 10, or 11. Likewise, surrendering isn't available as an option in this game.
Drive Home your Advantage
The other key difference is that all ties (or pushes) count as wins for the dealer. These differences especially ties going to the house, are what balance out the fact that you can see both of the dealer's cards.
As a result, what you have at your disposal is a set of aggressive strategies to take advantage of your edge and minimize your weaknesses. A lot of doubling and splitting can happen in this game as a result and soft hands can be pushed stronger than usual.
